  • 残酷な天使のテーゼ is the opening theme of the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime. Yoko Takahashi, the original vocalist, resang it for the pop'n music 12 いろは cover.
  • 残酷な天使のテーゼ is the only TV&ANIME license that has been in more than one CS release of the pop'n music main series.
  • According to wac, 残酷な天使のテーゼ was one of the first anime licenses up for candidacy during production of pop'n music 6, but he did not put it in due to its popularity already in pachinko slots and other places.
