The much talked about 80's techno sound!
Song Production Information[]
When this song came up, I had a very hard time classifying it into a genre. I felt something that could not be put away as "techno" in one word. It may be because I am of the generation that experienced the dawn of techno in real time, from the late '70s to the early '80s, so to speak. This song has a catchy verse featuring a nostalgic vocoder sound in the gap between aggressive analog synth tones with a lot of filters, followed by a flowing bridge and a beautiful oriental-sounding chorus, which has a wonderful development and is very ethnically ambiguous. In the actual game, the spatial stereo effects applied to each of the sound effects create a very nice sound field, which shows the artist's attention to detail.
