- To unlock Vairocana in the original arcade version, the player has to:
- Unlock がんばれゴエモンメドレー
- Clear がんばれゴエモンメドレー on the SECOND STAGE with a max combo of 318 with 2st or FORCE as a playable character.
- Vairocana was just a hidden song in pop'n music 12 いろは. In the CS version of this game, though, it was part of the "HARU" (春 Spring?) section from the ポップン秘伝忍法帖 unlock system.
- From March 2nd, 2005, it is available by default.
- Vairocana is included in pop'n music 20 fantasia's NAVIGATE MODE under the TЁЯRA artist category (which also includes NAOKI's and jun's standalone works), confirming Naoki Maeda's collaboration with Jun Wakita (who himself had his alias confirmed in the long version of neu on 音楽).
- Vairocana is also Naoki Maeda's final instrumental song in pop'n music to date.
- Vairocana was added to pop'n music Lively on July 7th, 2021 as the July 2021 Monthly Bonus Song.
- From July 6th, 2022, it can be unlocked via Ticket Quest after purchasing the song with two Lively Tickets.

- "Gagaku" from the CYBER GAGAKU genre, is a style of music with the Japanese motif, used for Japanese imperial courts and dances. You can find more information here.
