Sumiko is one of the characters from Pop'n Music 11. Her younger self, known as Sumiko'73, appears in Pop'n Music 12 Iroha.

Personality[edit | edit source]

こうみえても、昔はミスたこ焼きやってんでぇー。ホンマ、若いときからべっぴんやねんから。べっぴんすぎて、周りの男がだまっとらんちゅーもんですわ。
Even then, she had missed takoyaki. Really beautiful when she was young.Too beautiful, and the man around the circumference had overcooked it.

Sumiko is a short grandma with a large takoyaki-esque hat, blond frizzy hair, a red necklace, plenty of red lipstick, and a furrowed brow. She wears red open-toed shoes and a floral-print red robe over a pink dress and apron.

Dynamite Soul[edit | edit source]

Here, Sumiko used to be taller, fit, wore mascara, and had a smaller takoyaki hat. She donned a red suit with green lapels and cuffs. Sumiko'73 also wore white shoes and takoyaki-themed earrings.

- Sumiko's birthdate coincides with Takoyaki Day.
Sumiko is based on the Osaka Obachan, elderly female idols from the Kansai region who wear animal-print clothes, are loud and aggressive, humorous, hand out candy to everyone and search for bargain prices.
Sumiko is one of the few characters to have past appearances.
