Pop'n Stage (ポップンステージ Poppun Suteeji?) is a Japanese music/rhythm video game, developed by Konami and Bemani. It is likely a Pop'n Music spin-off, developed in 1999, with an unknown date. Possibly, the title was altered as Pop'n Stage EX, that includes two extra songs, several Pop'n Music 3 songs, and more difficulties.
Gameplay
Pop'n Stage shares a development between Bemani's most popular rhythm game, DanceDanceRevolution, and South Korea's popular dancing game, Pump It Up. Unlike the original Pop'n Music series, Pop'n Stage includes ten "switches" (four diagonals and a center on each side, just like Pump It Up's panel placement). This only supports one player at a time; six-switch and ten-switch modes are available (corresponding to Pump It Up's half double and full double; in other words, 6-switch mode doesn't use the four outer corners).
