Character Information
What kind of song will it be, what kind of lyrics will it have...
When I was making this character, the only things given to me were two words: "Asaki" and "Rashomon".
Initially I was wondering how it would be to make an old woman character, which is unusual for Pop'n.
But the demo I received when I was halfway through wasn't all that terrifying, and I remembered Asaki-san telling me something like "I want some Western elements too." The result was a design with a somewhat exotic feeling.
I hope that an old woman character can see the light of day eventually, but for now I'll carefully keep her in my stock box.

Pop'n Music 19 TUNE STREET TOWN MODE:
ゆ、ゆ、ゆ、ゆるさないぃぃ 鬼の力を見せてあげるわ… さぁこっちにいらっしゃい…
Un...un...un... unforgivableee... I will show you the power of a demon... Now, come over here...
- Ni no Maru may be inspired by either the Noh play Rashōmon, or the Akutagawa Ryuunosuke short story of the same name.
- Rashomon was the ruined southern gate of the city of Kyoto, notorious for being a hangout for criminals and a place where corpses and children were abandoned. In legend, it was said to be inhabited by an oni. These aspects match Ni no Maru's birthplace and her character of being possessed by a demon.
