English[edit | edit source]

"How high up is it?", you said to me

When we were very young, we played following beneath the waxing and waning of the shining moon

If I touch even one thorn, it'll disappear
Trying not to spill a single drop, the moon I had scooped up in the palm my hand was gone

Goodbye
To those who don't say a thing
I'm sure it's always been this way, hasn't it?
The glittering, shining moon... ah... It became tears that melted a snow-colored butterfly

Long Version[edit | edit source]

English[edit | edit source]

"How high up is it?", you said to me
When we were very young, we played following beneath the waxing and waning of the shining moon

Well-timed rain falls from one side of the sky
The hydrangea and an amber-colored moon dance on the water's edge
They complimented each other

If I touch even one thorn, it'll disappear
Trying not to spill a single drop
The moon I had scooped up in the palm my hand was gone

Goodbye... Illuminated by your white complexion
A butterfly perched on my fingertip
I felt that you were like
the brilliantly shining snow.
It was difficult for me to breathe

My fingers tangled in spider's silk
My... my face is gone

Soap bubbles rise upwards and vanish
Although I hoped that they wouldn't burst
And I carefully cherished them

Hey, God, I'm right here
Wavering in the ripples on the surface of the lake

Since when was a beautifully decorated butterfly
the same as a glass bead?
I am nothing
The butterfly was able to fly
Because you were always, always there for me

Goodbye to those who don't say a thing
I'm sure it's always been this way, hasn't it?
The glittering, shining moon... ah... It became tears that melted a snow-colored butterfly
