Song Connections / Remixes

  • ガッチャマンの歌 is the opening theme of the popular Tatsunoko series Gatchaman (which was dubbed in the U.S. under the name Battle of the Planets).
  • On the pop'n music 10 location tests, ガッチャマンの歌's character was YOSHIO [7-1P]. He received a new design on the final release of the game.
    • YOSHIO was likely chosen as the character for ガッチャマンの歌 because, like the heroes in Gatchaman, he's a ninja.
      • The heroes in Gatchaman were also scientists, which is why YOSHIO also wears a labcoat.
  • ガッチャマンの歌 is the only song in pop'n music featuring YOSHIO as a rival character that isn't sung by Hideo Suwa.
  • According to wac, he kept writing Gatchaman (ガッチャマン) as Gatchanman (ガッチャンマン) in the lyrics several times during the making of his cover, even after shio corrected him.
