A little high tempo techno. Hitting the gong in cyber city?
Song Production Information[]
Haya-P[]
I know some of you may be wondering, "What kind of genre is "AKIBA"? Of course, there is no such genre. It's just a theme (I'm out of ideas (laugh)).
This song was created by sound programmer PAPEHINA. It's techno with a sense of speed.
Originally, it had a lot of kung-fu style screaming sound effects, etc., which made it sound very Chinese-ish, but it sounded like a joke halfway through, so I asked PAPEHINA to change it.
In the middle and the last part of the song, there is a part where three-note and four-note phrases attack each other alternately. This part is easy to press by eye, but when interpreted musically, it is "least common denominator-like" and unexpectedly difficult. It is an interesting experiment.
E.C.M., by the way, stands for "Ese Chinese Music" (Faux Chinese Music).
